"THE MOURNING BRIDE"


The Artists of GoGo Gorgeous had A BLAST creating this look for "The Mourning Bride" Photoshoot with Charlotte Tittle Photography & Anthomanic. 

The idea was to have a dark, dramatic feel to the makeup while creating the illusion that the "mourning bride" had actually been crying. 

It isnt everyday that we get this type of request for makeup, but when we do, we welcome, and sooo enjoy the creative opportunity :)

You look fantastic. A really excellent look that shows a creative yet mysterious appearance, please could you tell us how you were able to make such a decorative and Halloween look. Thanks for the post and please keep me updated.

Hi Alison! Thank you so much, we SO enjoyed doing this shoot! Unfortunately, we were not on-site that day to do the makeup and hair so you will need to contact Charlotte Tittle Photography. She will definitely be able to tell you :)

Hi Sienna!
We LOVED creating this look. It was very in-depth work contouring and shading, creating a messy look that still looked polished and put together was a fun challenge. We used a mineral oil base for the shadow so that it would have the appearance of being "moist" from tears. We used a water base mixed with black shadow with a fine tip brush to create the tear streaks. We went with a muted matte lip with no blush, just heavy contouring. For the hair we teased the living day lights out of it and then curled the ends and pinned a few pieces back.
