Style Your Shoot!

One of our favorite things to do as makeup artists, is create! So when we get to be a part of a shoot that is "styled" or "themed" it is just so so much fun! Doing this, brings your photos to life, make things fun, different, and inspiring. We love creating the makeup looks for styled shoots to pull everything together.

Here are just a few of the different ones we have had such a blast doing the makeup (and in some photos, hair) look for! Below are a couple examples of senior portraits made funnnn! This is what we hear women say, almost always after we are finished with her makeup for a special occasion. Getting up in the morning can be hard enough in itself, we know. But then to sit and spend time doing your makeup can get frustrating...especially when... you're clueless!

Product Review | Dior Nude Fresh Glow Foundation

This week we tried out Dior's Nude Fresh Glow Foundation and would like to give you a quick review on the product!

First of all, it is a liquid. But don't let this fool you. It's actually a liquid that dries more like a mineral powder. This means both great coverage and ideal for oily prone skin.
Secondly, if you are a drier skin, no need to worry, this product also hydrates the skin.
Lastly, always remember that foundation can be as personal as a fragrance. What works well with one persons skin may not be a good fit for the next. This is why personalized consultations are so important.

Boudoir & Bridal Makeup

Misty was one of our lovely brides from this Fall's Wedding Season. We first met Misty at Creme Boudoir Photography Studio, where we did her makeup & hair for her Boudoir session, that would later be given to her fiance' on their wedding day! Misty doesnt typcally wear much makeup, but since we were doing her makeup for such a "spicy" occasion, we decided to go for a more sexy, smoky, "bombshell" kinda look.

WOW! Misty, you're beautiful!

After this session, she hired us to do her makeup for her wedding. We decided for her wedding, we would go less dramatic, with a much softer appeal. Gorgeous!!

Congratulations Misty! You were truly a Gorgeous bride, it was such a pleasure working with you! You are beautiful inside and out! Looking forward to having a makeup party with you and a few of your friends and family! Will be tons of fun :)
